Senator Schematic Revisions 10/12/13

Did a little bit of house cleaning this afternoon and tidied up some of the Senator schematics that I've been meaning to get to, as I was already in one of them to fix an error with the rings.

Cleaned up the language, replacing right and left with handle and non-handle sides, to clear up confusion.
Worked on 114's, 114H's, 114HLW's and the LH models for those numbers.

Older Senator Schematics updated

Older Senator schematics updated with notes about the old outside access drags and the older, thicker drag washer stacks, where applicable. I didn't add notes to the 110 or 111, as I think those had leather washers rather than the thicker asbestos/fiberglass washers, and never had the outside drags, to my knowledge at this time. I added notes about these older parts to the oldest version of schematic that we had for each model.

Fathom Star Drag

Added the owners manual to the website for the Fathom Star Drag reels, including the extra page from Penn's site detailing how to adjust the Centrifugal Brake.

Today I will also be working on adding photos of the Fathom SD reels to the system as well.

The form stopped working due to a change on the mail server side, causing messages to be delivered 3 days later, or not at all. The new form has been tested and appears to be working fine.

Added Squall Star Drag reels and parts to the catalog

Squall Star Drag series Models SQL25N, SQL30 and SQL40 have been added to the catalog's Penn Parts Dept. Some of the parts are not yet available. Schematics have been posted.

The reels are also available for purchase at this time in the Fishing Dept. of our online catalog.

349, 349H, 349HC

Made some corrections on the 349, 349H, 349HC schematics making note of the corrected number of stand screws.

Schematic Updates

Revised the Senator 111 with some adjustments (clamp/stud corrections, added correct # of post screws to drawing, etc)

I have been updating ALL of our schematics so that the drawings are a printable size without having to reduce or enlarge the image size. I have about 25% of the files left to fix. After that, there shouldn't be any printing formatting issues.

704 and 706 Spinfishers are making a comeback!

Progress continues at the factory....704/706Z are being brought back due to popular demand. No changes will be made to the design of the reels....we want to have complete consistency between new and old reels so that parts interchange. More details to follow next week.

We are reopening our reel repair department and are now accepting reels for repair. Thank you all for your patience while repair was unavailable due to complications from Hurricane Sandy.

I have expanded on the page, adding a couple more V reels to the list. Schematics have also been revised.

66, 67 and 68 Longbeach Schematics

Updated the 66, 67 and 68 schematics to show the correct number of posts, post screws and post holes. Apparently, Penn's been using the same drawing for the last 60 years or so, for 60 thru 68, but only 60 and 65 have 4 posts, while 66 thru 68 have 6 posts.

January 27th, USPS All Postal Rates Changed

As of January 27th, USPS All Postal Rates Changed

These are the USPS's rate increases, not ours. Our handling fees have remained the same.

USA:
First class rates went down, which is nice for the majority of our customers who place smaller orders.
Priority Mail also appears to have dropped a few cents.

International
Canada Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box International went up $3.00
All other international locations, Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box International went up $7.00

Battle Schematics Updated

Updates have been posted for the BTL5000, 6000, 7000 and 8000 model schematics, with revisions do the line roller system. The bail wires are changed due to a change in the line roller and bearing, as shown below. More info can be found here in the design change notes:
